Climate and Weather

Newfoundland enjoys a moderate marine climate, so you won’t have to deal with extreme temperatures. Our average summer temperature is around 20°C and in the winter it can get close to -20°C.. Summers are short and sweet while fall is typically sunny and bright (and maybe one of the island’s best kept secrets!). But, as any local will tell you, our weather can change on a dime — so pack accordingly!
